When we finished delivering the first season of Rocko, I was able to go into the shows and pick out cel set ups that I wanted for my own collection. This was one of them, from the episode “Sand in your Navel”.
I’m putting this up for sale on EBAY with a portion of the sale , again, going to Haiti relief efforts.
I’m offering to sign the cel, ( and even draw a little something on it) or you can have it without a signature. I photoshopped one in to show where it would go. It’s nicely matted and comes with letters of authenticity from both myself and Nickelodeon.
And of course, I have the right to come and visit it on your wall anytime I want. ( kidding.)

I just received the book cover sketch yesterday, Joe. Thanks for the prompt delivery. It looks great. Interesting to see the slight differences between the sketch & the final cover, like how Filburt was redrawn so he wouldn’t be buried under the title.
(And if you come visit, call ahead to give me time to pick up the place.

Heh. If I wasn’t already heading to an Eric Clapton concert in two weeks up in Toronto (By the way, you should go.) I would so be winning this auction. This scene is one of the ones I remember explicitly.

And to Chris D. Charlie Adler did the voice of the Hippo Lady. He also did the voices of Ed and Bev Bighead.

Joe last night I was watching Closet Clown, do you think that was probably the most “adult” episode of Rocko ? Having a hidden “lifestyle” and as the episode suggests being in the “closet” about it ? Then that last joke at the end. XD

“My, those are some fine lenses.” hahah. Rocko’s modern life is my favorite TV show of all time. And i cant even watch all the episodes…I only have about 6 episodes (2 stories in each) downloaded from xbox live.

Between his renditions of the Bigheads & his work on “Cow & Chicken”, Charlie Adler has to be one of my modern heroes of cartoon voice-overs. (I still miss The Big Red Guy.)
