The winds that came through here blew all the trees bare. My daughters and I went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. They had a soccer game on that was showing a hapless owl that flew onto the field and was bagged by a random man. While I was watching this, my daughter kept tugging at my shirt that an actor from “Shake it up” was sitting at the next table. Like rude fans, we interrupted his enchilada for a photo.

Life in Southern California.

Someone wrote in and said “Dude, what happened to that cool “Character Museum” you used to¬† have. We dug it up out of the closet and put it back on the site. Here it is.

  1. Hey Joe, do you remember that episode of Rocko that was never produced, “Wake Up, Maggie”? About how far along did that get into development? Was a full outline written, were storyboards made for it, were any table reads and voice sessions recorded for it? And would you still have in your possession any of those materials, or would Nickelodeon likely have them? I’d really like to see this stuff as extras on a DVD if it it was ever made and is out there.

  2. Joe Murray says:

No, it was never made. It went as far as outline, and was approved through the network and ready to be handed out for storyboards, but then I nixed it. I don’t know what happened to the outline.

I had Tom Douglas make and hand a sandwich to me once. Life in the Northwest.

  4. Well, maybe you should ask Nickelodeon to dig through their archives to see if they by any chance have copy of the outline.
