“People freelancing in a creative field,

get work because of 3 things:

1. Their work is good.

2. Because they are easy to get  along with.

3. They deliver their work on time.

Do two out of three, and you will make it.  Most clients will forgive

the missing third.

But if you have all three, make sure to see your friends, because

you will be very busy.”

- Inspired from a passage in Neil Gaiman’s ‘Make Good Art’ speech.

  1. Warren says:

That’s pretty good advice but with my luck I better try to have all 3.

  2. That was quite a commencement speech good ole’ Mr. Gaiman gave. The bit referenced was absolutely one of my favorite parts.
