I’m Loving This Work

I’m getting ready to do some voice recording for “Fish Head”, and some of the casting is proving to be a challenge. Doing some animation where I can make a  jump on it. And yes it took me a while to tweak some story points that have been gnawing at me. But I feel I worked them out. A combination of good runs in the hills, and lots of drawing.

The animation will be traditional, with textured and tinted recycled cardboard for coloring. The backgrounds are brush painted acrylic (like this one) with some collage work of papers and fabrics that work for the story, and textures added as overlays ( like the various wood textures added here in photoshop as overlays). There will also backgrounds painted on reclaimed wood and using the natural weathered roughness where it suits the story.
