Okay, It’s Official. Rocko Live Event Confirmed for October 6th!
We have the main voice cast of Rocko: Carlos Alazraqui, (Rocko) Tom Kenny (Heffer), Doug Lawrence (Filburt) and Charlie Adler ( The Bigheads) confirmed for Saturday October 6th. It’s at the Downtown Independent Theatre LA ( very cool, small theatre) and we will have a live read of a Rocko episode, A panel discussion with Q & A, Signings, Cartoons to watch,, and more. Get your tickets early. (On sale at this website. It’s a small theatre and I’m not sure if it will happen again!
Oh yes. I’ll be there too. Telling intimate stories about the voice cast. Should be fun!
I’m defiantly going to try and make it to this, since I’m in Arizona this is only a six hour drive for me. It would be great to see all of you together again. Do you know if pictures will be allowed at this even Mr. Murray?

That’s amazing! I wonder if you can get someone to film it and sell digital copies for people who can’t make it to L.A. I’d buy it for sure!
Gosh. It sucks living in new york sometimes. I would have LOVED this. But it would cost too much for me to go out there. I hope that you can get a professional camera & sound person, and be able upload it to your website, or on dvd maybe. But I really wish I could see this. Oh well. I guess I’ll get over it.
Yesssssss!! This sounds so much fun! A 20 hour drive, though… do the depths of my fandom reach that far? Oh, I’m reaching, all right. If tickets are involved I better decide soon!
I’ve been waiting for this to be officially announced! When I first read about it I knew that I had to go. Now I wait for the 21st!
oh boy, I’m nauseous, i’m nauseous. I MUST SEE THIS. This may be the reason for my first LA trip ever.
I second Greg’s suggestion… this would also be a good extra for Season 4 (although, I’m sure it would be edited).
I as well am in agreement. I’m sure that Mr. Murray understands that every one of his fans can’t make it out there for this. Even with two months notice, it’s still not enough time for some people in the East Coast to organize a trip out there.
But I can’t think of a better feature for the season 4 dvd. It would just be awesome. I mean, its the last season, and what a great send off that would be.
And I hope that it wouldnt be edited. Bc a lot of times of dvds, I see a disclaimer that says “views expressed on commentary’s/featurettes dont express the views of blah blah blah blah.” So that shouldnt be an issue. But even if it is edited. I would still love to see it.
And if you cant get it to be on season 4, like I said, I would be willing to pay for a separate dvd just of this.

This is like the coolest thing ever! It would be amazing if you brought this to NYC it would be super successful.
Still no word on what Mr. Murray is planning to do as far as distribution of this event goes. Which leads me to believe that he is currently working on something as we speak. I really hope he reads these comments, and realizes that a lot of his fans would like to see this, in some form or another. Professionally done would, of course, be ideal.
We are not sure what the plans are for this event. We will see how this one goes, and talk among ourselves. We all have busy lives here in LA for us to pull away for a tour of this show, so it would have to be extremely well received. Thank you for your interest though!

I second Brody’s notion. This would make an excellent supplement for the Season 4 set, if legalities aren’t a problem.
Is Season 4 in the works, Mr. Murray? Really looking forward to it.
